In June Apple released one feature we weren’t expecting and truth be told, we didn’t think we would be getting it anytime soon. You ready for this… iPad Remote Control, yes you read that correctly, iPad Remote Control!
This came as a big surprise to us firstly because this is a complex feature to create and do well, secondly Apple prioritize only the most important features for its developers to work on and there were a lot of features we know that came out of Apples annual June event.
Here is a Bonus this feature is not just for iPad but for iPhone too, and works both ways.
So What is this Remote Control feature for iPad?
This feature is built into iPadOS’s Screen Share function within FaceTime and allows FaceTime attendee’s to ask to take control of each other iPad’s. This feature is brilliant, as it enables clear direction for assistance via annotation on the screen and control of the software.
Effectively this is like Apple’s first version of Anydesk, Screens or Remote Desktop. Apps that enable remote control of a devices screen, keyboard and mouse inputs.
