In one tap, this brilliant shortcut which we have build for you, will save you a bunch of time each day, by arranging all your apps just the way you like them, giving you a nice productivity boost when iPadOS 26 launches.
The Public BETA of iPadOS 26 is out and we are diving into the detail to learn about the time saving productivity tips and tricks you can employ to get your work done faster and be more productive.
Shortcuts

One of the biggest updates in iPadOS 26 is the new windowing functionality. Now users can have multiple windows in virtually any size and arrangement they like. Coupled with this, there is another new feature called “Tiling”, which is a powerful method of “grid-snapping” your apps into pre defined grid-style arrangements.

We know that once you have found your preferred app arrangement, you are going to want to get into that set up again in the future, particularly if you are trying to “go fast” and push your productivity workflows. This shortcut helps you get there without having to manually set up your apps each time….
Why I use this Shortcut.
For me, I use this shortcut below in my morning routine, when I first open my iPad Pro. This shortcut instantly opens my mail client “Spark”, so that I can see what’s urgent in my mailbox, (you can change this in the shortcut to your preferred mail client, i.e Apple Mail). At the same time the shortcut opens my task manager Omnifocus which allows me to see what my priorities, goals and objectives are for the day. If you use another task manager, i.e Todoist or Apples Reminders app, you can change this in the shortcut to the app you specifically use. The shortcut goes on to open my Calandar 📆 App, so I can see what meetings I have in my day. After the Calandar App, the shortcut opens my iMessage app, so that I can see if anyone in our team is trying to reach me. The real benefit to this shortcut besides the speed at which all the apps open, is that all my apps are opened in my preferred arrangement, in just one tap!

Here is the link 🔗 to this shortcut, so all you need to do is download it. Remember if you don’t have the Spark App you can replace it with the Apple Mail app or your preferred mail client. The same applies to Omnifocus, if that’s not an app you use, simply replace it, if you don’t have a task manager, you can use Apple’s Reminders App which will be native on your iPad.
